Two Outstanding Professionals Join CCT's Management and Technical Team
We're pleased to report that our Engineering and Technical Services group at Cold Chain Technologies (CCT) has seen tremendous growth and expansion this past year. As part of our group's expansion, we are proud to announce the addition of two outstanding professionals to the CCT management and technical team.
- Jeff Simpson joins CCT as Director of Engineering and Technical Services. He will manage research, internal new product development, custom solutions development for specific client applications, project engineering and technical account management. He will also oversee all technical services, which include our highly regarded laboratory testing and qualification services, cold chain management consulting, auditing and thermal mapping. Jeff has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Lowell, and 17 years of experience in mechanical engineering, engineering management, and program management, including business and technology development, most recently with General Electric Aviation. Jeff has managed technical development and customer programs supporting $100M in annual revenues.
- Rich Formato joins the Engineering and Technical Services group as Principal Thermal Engineer. His initial primary focus will be in the areas of thermal science and materials research, and advanced predictive modeling. Rich holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering with concentrations in Thermal/Fluids and Mechanics of Materials. He has authored numerous publications, holds several patents, and has held lead technical positions in the optical lens, fuel cell, and material science fields. Rich has secured and managed several SBIR research grants.
The addition of Rich and Jeff to Cold Chain represents our commitment to remaining the technical leader within the markets that we serve as we continue to provide the scientific basis and technical understanding required to develop robust, high performing solutions.
