Director of Global Marketing Communications

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Director of Global Marketing Communications will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies to enhance the company’s brand visibility, thought leadership, and digital presence. This role involves managing public relations (PR) initiatives, driving engagement through social media platforms (primarily LinkedIn), optimizing the company’s website for user experience and SEO, and leveraging marketing and sales tools such as HubSpot, Modus, and Spiro to generate measurable business impact.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Public Relations (PR):
    • Develop and execute global PR strategies to position the company as a thought leader in the industry.
    • Foster relationships with industry media, and key influencers to secure coverage and amplify brand recognition.
    • Manage press releases, media kits, and other PR materials to ensure consistency and alignment with company messaging.
  • Social Media Management:
    • Lead content creation, scheduling, and engagement strategies on LinkedIn to enhance the company’s professional network and reach.
    • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to refine social media strategies for optimal engagement and ROI.
  • Website Management:
    • Oversee website content strategy, design, and development to ensure an engaging user experience and alignment with branding.
    • Drive search engine optimization (SEO) initiatives to increase web traffic and lead generation.
    • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure timely updates and maintain website functionality.
  • Marketing and Sales Enablement Tools:
    • Utilize tools like HubSpot, Modus, and Spiro to execute campaigns, track performance, and generate actionable insights.
    • Collaborate with sales teams to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and business development goals.
    • Implement automation and analytics tools to enhance marketing efficiency and scalability.
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Define and manage the annual global marketing communications plan and budget.
    • Provide leadership and mentorship to the marketing communications team.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, commercial, and customer success) to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment with corporate goals.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing communications, with a proven track record in B2B marketing.

  • Strong expertise in PR, social media management (particularly LinkedIn), and website management.

  • Hands-on experience with marketing and CRM tools such as HubSpot, Modus, and Spiro.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication & presentation skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams in a fast-paced, global environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of industry trends and emerging digital marketing technologies.
  • Experience managing global campaigns across multiple regions and cultures.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), graphic design tools, and SEO best practices.
